How do I apply?
Registration for our 2025 Workshop is now closed. Acceptance and Waitlist notifications are sent on February 17, 2025.
Thank you all for applying.
How do you select the students?
To maintain fairness, we follow a very strict process. We often receive requests for special consideration to students who have not met the application criteria. We do not make allowances for these requests as we often have far more applicants than available seats and want to be fair to all applicants. Once the application deadline closes we do the following:
Filter our applicant list down to those who meet the following:
Are current high school students
Filled out the application
Sent a Teacher Letter of Recommendation
We then select students from that pool based on the date that they applied. For 2025, we are accepting 26 students.
There is a drastic shortage of female participation within the cybersecurity workforce. Therefore, there is a reserved block of seats in this year’s workshop for female applicants. If we do not fill that reservation, those seats will be given to other applicants.
Are there any additional requirements?
No.
We will ask the selected students to fill out a background and demographic survey that is anonymous. This helps us track the workshop’s performance over the years. Filling out the survey is voluntary, but it does help us very much.
